“Having worked with BrightView Golf Maintenance at a previous club, I was familiar with the quality of their work and the ability to control my golf course maintenance budget. Now they are BrightView, still delivering the same assurances of quality and fiscal control,” said Tim Walker, Vice President of Operations at the California Country Club and Eagle Crest Golf Club.

The two courses are both owned by SR Mutual Investment Corp., but are two very different types of courses that are unique to the area.

The California Country Club, established in 1956, features mature tree-lined fairways which offers a challenge for both the experienced golfer while also providing enjoyment for the up-and-coming player.

The Eagle Crest Golf Club opened in 1999 and has since been offering a memorable golf experience at a great value to golfers in the San Diego area.

“I currently manage three golf courses and was able to bring in BrightView on two of the properties already to give me the same peace of mind that my courses will be ready every day for play, that programs will be in place for the long-term conditioning of the turf, and that I know what it will cost me at year end,” Walker said. “They have proven time and again to deliver an exceptional product at the same or lower price than we could do in-house.”

“There is a great opportunity to improve the conditions of two great golf courses and enhance the strategic features on the courses,” Terry McGuire, Vice President of National Operations said.

“This is a notable milestone that puts BrightView Golf Maintenance over the 80 course mark nationwide and clearly solidifies us as the largest golf maintenance company in the industry,” Vice President of Business Development & Marketing Gene Leon said.
